The body is highly intelligent and able to reorganize based on the challenges that are presented to it. This explains why we feel pain for a short period of time that seemingly disappears by itself - the body has adapted. These adaptations are called subluxations, or anchor points within the spine, that enable the body to move normally even though there is weakness or dysfunction in another area. Because the spine is so close to the spinal cord, even a small subluxation affects our movement and our nervous system. Subluxation affects adults, teenagers and even children. At Serendipity Chiropractic, we find and adjust the subluxation to allow the body and nervous system to return to an optimal level of function.
